IDEO’s Rodrigo Martinez leads an Arc workshop in Boston with Harvard
geneticist George Church and others about how to translate data into wisdom

Arc is dedicated to turning talk and ideas into action – including those that emerge from the Arc Fusion Dinner that is the subject of this issue of Arc Fusion Magazine, with the theme: THE FUTURE: Of technology and humans.

To accomplish this, Arc is partnering with IDEO to develop ideas into actual projects, initiatives, proposals, companies, and products. We plan to assemble working groups and to convene expert panels and networks and offer consulting services to the Arc community.

In future issues of Arc Fusion Magazine the Arc-Ideo collaboration will hold at least one follow-up meeting for interested Arc community dinners? to discuss and develop recommendations and plans for moving forward with new initiatives based on that dinner’s theme. These actions will address ecosystem, infrastructure and societal issues around the fusion of health, IT and biomedicine.

We plan to launch the Arc-Ideo “Build” program in 2016 – look for more detailed information and examples to come soon.
